Beginning Monday September 27 students must be accompanied by a parent to attend ANY ATHLETIC EVENT for everyone's safe enjoyment of the event. The student must sit with his/her parent. When the parent leaves the game the student must leave with the parent. Student ID's will be required. Thank you for your support with this practice and policy.

Our earliest drop off time is 7:15. Students should remain in the car with parents until that time. A staff member will invite you into the building.

Bring your patience and some extra time as it always takes us longer the first 2 to 3 weeks of school for arrival and dismissal while we establish routines and procedures.

For last names A - K parents will drop off and pick up in back of the school.

• Please use Emory Road which is the road between the church and the school.
• Please pull all of the way around to the awning area.
• As soon as your car arrives at the awning area your student should hop out of the car and use the sidewalk to enter the building.
• Drivers should follow the directives of the staff on duty for a SAFE and efficient drop off and pick up line.

For last names L - Z parents will drop off and pick up in the gym loop area.

• Please go to the athletic entrance and follow the cones to the drop off zone.
• Please help us keep the line moving by dropping off at the sidewalk area.
• Remember to always pull all the way forward for a SAFE and efficient drop off line.

Just a few reminders to keep us all healthy:

• Students must be fever free for 24 hours without the assistance of a fever reducer before returning to school. Please keep children at home until that time.
• Social distancing whenever possible is strongly encouraged.
• Masks are encouraged per CDC/DHEC guidelines but not required per SC Proviso.

Parenting middle school students is an amazing journey and social media has become a big part of that parent adventure. Most of the time social media is a fun way for teens and tweens to connect and communicate with each other and you using personal devices. Being aware of where your child is going on their personal devices and helping to keep them safe are all important for the parent of today's teen.
