Way to go Mrs. Bensch and student council, their Toys for Tots service project worked hard and had a successful drive, collecting over 100 toys that were donated for the Christmas Holidays.
Ms. Byrd challenged her students to bring in a toy for Toys-for-Tots and explain how it connected to their learning this semester and present it to their classmates. She presented this to all three classes: APUSH, Eng I Acc, and USH and all three classes accepted the challenge! In total, they donated 28 toys. This was a lesson in love and community as well as in their subject area!
