Tales2Go audiobooks are unlimited, simultaneous usage.

If you are curating a list of resources (articles, video, primary source materials, etc.) for students, search audiobooks or Tales2Go in AEA Scout. You can share folders of resources with students or just share the persistent links to specific resources.

Have you been looking for ways to enhance book awareness that can be shared with administrators, colleagues, parents, and students? Log into www.teachingbooks.net. Under the book cover you’ll see, “Share This Page.” Click on the page of information, or section you want to share. (Example, if you want to share more about the book description, expand that section before sharing.) You can share a persistent link, or create bookmarks, flyers, or labels, which can all be translated with Google Translate. You can also translate the website by selecting the language in the upper right.

There were over 15,000 digital reads in February with 70% of the Mackin VIA ebook collection read by at least one student. Don't forget, educators are welcome to make suggestions for purchase for curriculum support and free reading.

Heartland AEA looks at digital content usage data for budgeting, collection development, promotion, linking to curriculum, engagement, and more.

Here's a look into some interesting stats for Tales2Go audiobooks.

• 2021 overall listening minutes increased by 5.5% from 2020.
• Note listening minutes for the 1st six months of 2021 were 120% greater than listening for the 1st six months of 2019 (i.e., on a normalized basis there was a lot of growth).

• Listening at the Boone schools increased by 7x.
• Listening at Carlisle Middle increased by 9.5x.
  
• Listening at Johnston schools stayed strong in 2021; it ballooned in 2020 vs. 2019.
• Nonpublic school listening nearly doubled.
  
• Van Meter and West Des Moines school listening stayed strong.
