Lockdown Drill
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I hope this letter finds you well. Today, on February 19th at 2:30 pm, we successfully conducted a lockdown drill at Miles Elementary School. I am pleased to inform you that the drill went exceptionally well, with both teachers and students demonstrating exemplary adherence to the prescribed safety procedures.
Everyone involved followed the established protocols precisely, ensuring a smooth and effective response to the simulated emergency situation. The safety and well-being of our students are of most importance.
We believe in keeping lines of communication open between the school and parents, which is why we wanted to inform you promptly about the completion of the lockdown drill. It is important for you to be aware of these safety measures so that you can engage in a conversation with your child, addressing any questions or concerns they may have regarding today's drill.
Should you need any further information or have specific inquiries, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your partnership in ensuring the safety and security of our students.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Curt McKneely
Principal
