News From The Elementary Office December 2022
It's the Holiday Season
December is an exciting time in elementary school as students and teachers begin to think about the holidays. Although there are many programs, crafts, and celebrations, teachers diligently work to ensure that high-quality instruction occurs in the classrooms.
We hope you will join us for this weekend's High School performance of Elf and for the Grade 1-3 winter program. (Details below)
I wish you and your family a joyous holiday season and look forward to the opportunities that 2023 will bring!
Merry Christmas,
Mary McCullough, Elementary Principal

DISMISSAL PROCEDURES AND NOTICES
ZOOMQ PICK UP APP UPDATES
- Add the app to your home screen to access it easily
- Add pictures of students and guardians for increased security
- Control buttons have been moved to the top of the screen
All guardians must be added to the app to ensure they are a safe pick-up for your child. You can do this from your end of the app. If someone shows up for pickup not listed as a guardian, they will be asked to park and show ID to the secretary.
If you have not signed up for the app, please get in touch with our secretary, Michelle Cochran, to set up a time to come in and get started.
Counselor Corner
Safety Segment
Speaking of the weather, this month we will be practicing several emergency preparedness drills to ensure we are ready to respond to various situations. If you hear your student talking about these drills, just know we are practicing them to make our school safer. These drills offer a great opportunity to teach our students how to respond and help us identify areas of improvement among our staff.
Stay tuned in the coming months for some exciting updates regarding new equipment that will improve safety here at AC!

have financial difficulties and would like to have them or their family provided
Christmas gifts for Christmas, we would love to help. In order to have your name
