Mini Bobcat Bulletin

On December 6th the 4th-6th graders represented Superior Elementary attending the Lady Griz Kids Day for a basketball game. This is a game that is put on every year where The University invites schools from around the area to attend the the game free of charge. It is always a great environment for the players as the Field House is full and VERY loud and the kids enjoy being able to watch the game and of course getting to see Monte! At half time of the game there is a "Shaq Says" contest, our own Lottie Digiando took 2nd place of all of the students selected to go down to the court to play!

As most of you are aware the 4th grade class was collecting coins to help raise money for the Lion's Club Christmas baskets. This year the school raised $1,223.18! The winning class was EK with $204.49. On December 12th the fourth graders then went shopping at local business to pick out different presents for the baskets with the money that they had raised. This is a great program that is put on by our Superior Lion's Club and as a school we are very thankful for it and glad that we are able to help out with the project!
