Makerspace is Expanding Thanks to District Technology Mini-Grant
Our school district has graciously awarded our library with a $1500 Technology Innovation Mini-Grant to expand our makerspace. What will be added to this cool creative space? Little Bits circuit kits, Dot and Dash robots, a Lego Fusion set, Lego Education remotes and motors, a Puzzlebox brain-controlled helicopter, and a Leap Motion virtual reality controller are just some of the items that we will purchase. All of these items will be available for student use and exploration during all lunch recesses.

Congratulations to our school Battle of the Books team!
Congratulations to four fifth grade students who represented our school at the state Battle of the Books competition sponsored by the Wisconsin Educational Media and Technology Association. This team worked hard throughout the winter to read the 20 required books. In February they competed with schools from around the state to determine which team could correctly answer the most questions about these books. All Battle of the Books participants were rewarded with a pizza party on March 27.
