Live-Scan Fingerprinting Available at Fall Family Night
For any parents who are interested in getting fingerprinted for clearance for any field trips, we are excited to announce that we will have a mobile live-scan service, AAA Live Scan of Escondido, available at the Fall Family Night. It will cost $80 (comparable price to what it costs at other outside vendors).
Fingerprint clearance is required for any parents who wish to attend any field trips. The good news is that clearance is good for the duration that parents' children attend EUSD schools.
Caps for the Cure on September 30
We are looking forward to our Caps for the Cure event on Friday, September 30. For this event, we are asking students to wear a crazy hat to school and for families to consider donating $1 towards The Cure Starts Now organization (donations will be collected in each classroom).
This cause is personally meaningful to Mr. Lyche whose 13-year old niece Savannah Lyche passed away last May after a short battle with cancer that began in her leg and eventually spread to her brain. Below is a flyer that shares a little about Savannah as well as information about our awesome event taking place on September 30.
Parent Conferences on October 6-7
By now, you should have received an invitation to sign-up for a conference with your child's teacher. This will be a fantastic opportunity to get updated on your child's progress two months into the school year.
Please note that there will be no school for students on these conference days.
