7th Grade Team

Hey fam,

I hope everyone had a restful summer break! For those of you that are new to our team, we hope you're ready to be part of the strongest team at Tidwell!

As 7th grade team lead it will be my job to help disseminate information, organize events, and ensure the well-being of the team. I see our team as a family, and my definition of family means we support each other through thick and thin. Don't be afraid to lean on your teammates because you can bet we'll return the favor.

Please let me know if you need anything at all. I am here to help!

WORK ROOM

1. We have our own copier! Information on connecting to it is forthcoming.

2. Does anyone have a small fridge that will fit next to the coffee maker? I would like to store coffee creamer/salad dressing/water in it. Otherwise you all have access to the large refrigerator in my storage room (2111A). If you are working in your room and you find yourself a bit parched, please grab a perrier from my fridge.

3. I am beginning to organize the work room in a NEW way. Please do not make adjustments.

4. I have moved a table out of the work room and placed random items on it that were put in the work room. If you want anything, take it by Friday (August 18th) or it will be thrown away.

CLASSROOMS

1. Don't have enough desks? Don't worry just yet. Classes are almost finished being balanced. After that, we can start requesting more desks.

2. Desks too short or off kilter? I have a 3/16 allen wrench in my room (2111) that you may borrow to fix them. It is on my desk and has a red handle. Please return when finished.

1. Please bring in a picture of yourself that you like. It can include your family, pets, etc. I would like to use it in the work room. If you only have it online, send it to me (alexis.wellborn@nisdtx.org) and I will print them. I would like to have them by the end of this week (August 18th).

2. Let's put a team lunch date on the calendar for this week or next. Teams that eat together, succeed together!

3. If you haven't heard, we will be using EDUGENCE for T-TESS this year, and it will eventually replace Aware in eduphoria. Don't be scared of it, as it is easy to navigate. I suggest you play around with it if you have time.

a. You will not break it!

b. There is "dummy data" in some of the categories so that you can see how it will show up. Other categories have nothing, so don't be surprised.
