What is Empathy?
Empathy is the ability to be aware of, understand, and be sensitive to another person’s feelings. Instead of focusing how these feelings impact ourselves, empathy motivates us to focus on others and respond with care and compassion.

Thanks to a partnership with group of local volunteers, our school will be participating in the Hand2Hand program. Home Football Games - The Rocket Way!
As we gear up for a new school year filled with excitement and opportunities, we are eager to share a meaningful enhancement to our home varsity football game experience. We believe this change will not only align with our core values of Respect, Pride, and Integrity but also contribute to the overall safety and enjoyment of our entire school community.
Beginning this academic year, we will require kindergarten through 8th-grade students to be accompanied by adults when attending our home varsity football games. We understand that this decision may prompt questions, and we would like to provide you with the rationale behind this change.
At the heart of our decision lies a commitment to maintaining the Rocket Way – our shared ethos of Respect, Pride, and Integrity. Our home varsity football games are a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship, and school spirit. By having adults present alongside our younger students, we aim to ensure that these core values are upheld throughout the event.
1. Respect for Each Other: Our school community is built on a foundation of mutual respect. By requiring adults to attend with younger students, we can ensure that appropriate behavior is modeled and maintained throughout the game. This helps create an environment where everyone feels comfortable and respected.
2. Pride in Our School: Attending our home varsity football games is an opportunity for us to showcase our school pride. By having families present, we demonstrate to our student-athletes that they are supported not only by their peers but also by a wider network of families who share in their accomplishments.
3. Integrity in Actions: Encouraging adult attendance helps reinforce the importance of accountability and responsible behavior. We believe that collectively upholding the Rocket Way of Integrity means demonstrating responsible conduct in all aspects of school life, including extracurricular events.
As we embark on this exciting journey together, we express our gratitude for your ongoing support and dedication to our school community. Let's continue to nurture an environment that embodies the Rocket Way in every aspect of our school life.
Thank you for your understanding and collaboration and Go Rockets.
