Welcome Back to 2022-2023 school year. We are so excited to start this new year filled with learning and know our Lions will continue to ROAR with success.

Our first day of school starts on Monday, August 8th. For the first day of school, parents may walk their students to the classrooms. After the first day of school, we kindly ask that parents drop their students off at the cafeteria gate or the main gate in front of the office. The cafeteria gate will open at 7:40am for breakfast and will be closed and locked at 8:10am.

Here is the bell schedule for the 2022-2023 school year. Please note that all students are dismissed at the same time.

*7:40 am — Breakfast begins.

*7:55 am—Campus opens, Bell rings and students can be on the playground

*8:05 am — Students line up for class.

*8:10 am — Tardy Bell Rings. Class begins.

*2:41 pm — Dismissal for all grades

*Early out days, all students will be dismissed at 1:25pm.

We kindly ask all parents to NOT park in the yellow loading zone or the bus loading zone or use the middle of the parking lots to pick up or drop off students.

We will also open the gate located on the east side of the campus (Lombardy & Skaggs) at the 2:41pm dismissal time. If you have students who are in the Washington Building (4th-6th grades) you may pick your children up on the east side of campus at this gate.

The school office is open from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. The office will be close from 7:30 to 11:30 on Wednesday, August 3rd for the district Back to School Breakfast.

We are excited to announce that we adopted a new form of school-to-home communication at Lemoore Elementary called ParentSquare. This unified communications platform is designed to keep parents and guardians informed and encourage greater engagement and connection with our school and the district. It provides a safe way for district administrators, school principals, teachers, staff, and parents to:

• Schedule parent-teacher conferences

• and much more . . . all in one centralized place!

All district and school, grade level and classroom information will now be sent to your computer or phone via email and/or text. For even more convenience, download the ParentSquare app (available for free for iOS and Android devices).

We will continue to have students dismissed through specific doors/gates to help with traffic flow Please see information below for dismissal.

Back to School Night will be on August 11th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. This will allow families to see classrooms, meet teachers, and ask questions.

A Parent Meeting will take place the same night from 5:00pm to 5:30pm in the LE cafeteria.

We are happy to announce the USDA has extended the Summer Seamless meal service option through June 30, 2023. This option allows the Child Nutrition department to serve meals at no charge for ALL students. Students will have access to both breakfast and lunch meals at no charge.

Applications for students in 1st – 6th grades are still available. We are happy to announce that the district's afterschool program will continue to operate beginning on August 8th. Students will remain on campus at the conclusion of the school day through 6pm. Students will be under the supervision of a team lead from the California Teaching Fellows Foundation (CTFF) where they will receive academic support, time to work on their homework, physical fitness, and instruction in a variety of topics of interest including but not limited to: science, coding, arts, crafts, music and dancing. If interested, applications will be available at the afterschool program office in 4J from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on August 4th and 5th.

Lemoore Elementary School follows the District’s minimum dress code for students. Please refer to the

Student Handbook for more information.
