Dear E.O. Green Parents and Guardians,

We are very excited to prepare for the welcome back in-person orientations. Our first day for in-person instruction is April 19, 2021. Please see the bell schedule below. We are hosting three different dates for student orientations. Students will be staggered by grade level and divided into multiple hourly- times by last names to minimize crowds.

All student stations will be running from 8:40-2:40 PM. Mask, face coverings are required every day.

6th Grade Friday, March 26, 2021

Orientation Schedule and Rotations

Your student will have an opportunity to visit seven stations:

STATION #1 - HEALTH SCREENINGS-Temperature Screening

STATION #2- ORIENTATION PACKET & COMPACT

STATION #3 - SCHOOL IDs - Take your picture and take home your ID

STATION #4 - GREEN GEAR STORE

Green Gear Sales: PRICES: T-shirts $15 and Sweatshirts $25. Cash Only. Bring exact cash amount. Double walled, stainless steel, engraved (name and school logo) cups and water bottles $21 Online Order Only. All proceeds from sales will go towards an electronic marquee.

STATION #7 - TEACHER MEET & GREET WITH SELF-GUIDED TOUR

The orientation is for the GREEN Hybrid and Hueneme at Home Hornet Students. The orientation visits are an excellent opportunity to meet and greet teachers and staff. Teachers will also be taking attendance during your child’s visit to the campus. 7th and 8th-grade students will need to visit all three classes for attendance and sixth-grade one teacher.

Families and community members, be aware that the City of Oxnard Construction Project -Roadwork - Public Works Department:(805) 385-8280 will be resurfacing streets around our school. Construction is anticipated to commence in April 2021.

Finally, please join us for The Virtual Hornet of the Quarter Friday, March 19, 2021, from 2:00-3:00. We notified the families about the presentation, and you will receive a Zoom link the day before the event. Congratulations to you and your student!!!

Future Trio Students,

Are you interested in joining TRIO? TRIO is a program offered at EO Green to help support students through their education. Students will receive important information about high school and college with consistent guidance over the years. If you are interested in TRIO, please fill out the form as soon as possible. Students already enrolled in TRIO don't need to fill out an application.

EO Green will be hosting our first Virtual Book Fair through Scholastic. The book fair will be from April 12-April 23. You will be able to explore books virtually to find your next great book. More information will follow as we get closer to the book fair.
