Let's hear it for our Dodge-Point Middle School Cross Country runners! The DP Boys claimed the title while the Girls were runners-up at the Wisconsin Middle School Championship! A delegation of Mineral Point FFA Chapter members got to attend the Sectional Leadership Workshop hosted by Lancaster last week! Students learned about about premier leadership, personal growth, and career success. They are excited for another great year in FFA!

Members of the Future Business Leaders of America had the opportunity to attend the Fall Leadership Lab in La Crosse last week! Workshops focused on leadership skills to get our chapter pumped and ready for the new year!

3rd graders have been learning all about animal environments and adaptations so they went to explore our oak savanna!

Our Mineral Point FFA Chapter members had a great time last week at the World Dairy Expo in Madison! These members interacted with businesses leading the dairy and agricultural industry.

After a canceled performance, Drama and Literature students got to attended a student matinee of Lorraine Hansberry’s "A Raisin in the Sun" at American Players Theatre in Spring Green to support their reading of her classic play!

1st graders "traveled" up to northern Wisconsin to learn about cranberry harvesting! They tried fresh cranberries, dried cranberries, and cranberry juice. Some thought they were sour or tart!

The Music and Culture CAPP class field trip to Chicago to see the Lyric Opera's 'Fiddler on the Roof' was a great time!

A big thanks to the FEP (Family & Educational Partnership) group for helping fuel our awesome staff during Homecoming! FEP has an Appreciation Committee (as well as others, like Special Events, Communications, Garden, etc.) -- if you'd like to get involved, please reach out to Elementary Principal Matt Renwick at matt.renwick@mp.k12.wi.us.

Last week, our choir students (Marcus Cool, Libby Dunn, Brock Ellingson, Anthony Luu, Merisa Paynter, Finn Renwick, Haley Schroeder, and Abby Webb) participated in the UW-Platteville Honors Choir Festival!

Test your knowledge at the 4th Annual Trivia Night (hosted by Mineral Point Boys & Girls Basketball) Sunday, October 30 in the MPHS Gym from 5-7 pm!
