Mr. Posick's Weekly email

It should come as no surprise to me with the giving community that we have here in Merton. The Community Giving Tree was bare of all tags by Friday of last week and, as you can see from the pictures below, there is an abundance of presents. Our Student Senate helped out tremendously by holding a homeroom contest to collect funds for the tags left on the tree at the end of the day last Friday. Over $600 was collected and what is not spent on presents will be used to fund some of the needed food items over the holidays. Thank you for your continued support of our school and community. The families receiving our donations will definitely have a holiday season that they will remember for a long time.

We still have two days of school left before our Winter Break. Monday, December 22nd and Tuesday, December 23rd our students and staff will continue their learning and community building activities. If you will be leaving early for Winter Break, please make sure to let the office know. You can send in notes or email Mrs. Emmerich (emmerichb@merton.k12.wi.us).

Due to our short week, and no school on Wednesday, there will be no Practice with Mr. Posick in the library after school on Tuesday, December 23rd. Practice with Mr. Posick will resume again on Tuesday, January 6th from 4:15-5:15. See you then!
