3rd - 8th grade Math Students, 3rd - 8th grade Reading Students, and 5th grade Science students will be testing this week.

Parents, please help us by making sure that your student gets to bed at a decent hour, eats a good dinner, and gets to school on time.

We know that our students are more than a test score, but we also want to make sure they do their best so that they can have opportunities appropriate for their academic success.

Remember:

• High school students must pass all 5 exams (English 1, English 2, Algebra 1, Biology, US History) before they exit high school in order to graduate.
• STAAR scores determine eligibility for honors courses.

Both the high school academic awards on Monday, the middle school academic awards and 8th grade graduation on Thursday, and high school graduation on May 27th will all be streamed through NFHS network for no charge. Mart ISD's CERT has been selected as the Statewide Student-Led Groups or Programs Award winner of the School Safety Spotlight Program.

Our program will be recognized during our 2022 Texas School Safety Conference this summer in San Antonio.

We had so many parents requesting summer workbooks that we've ordered one for each student PK-11. As an added bonus, students who return their workbooks completed in August will be treated to Kona Ice!
