Subject Highlights:
Each week will focus on a department within the school and share their nominations with you. This week our Science team will be sharing their nominations with you.
Miss Kritzinger has made the following nominations:
Year 7 students Leah-Rose, Dusan, Julia, Lucas, Kaiden, Beth and Alfie for great engagement in lesson. Also nominated is Milo for winning the Kahoot quiz twice in a row, well done!
Year 8 students Matei, Tarak, Charlotte, Nathan and Uros for excellent work and engagement in lessons.
Year 9 students Dera, Harry, Moyo, Bradley, and Avani for consistently completing great work in lesson.
Year 10 students Vadims, Kevin, Dillon, Finn and Will for excellent engagement in lesson.
Finally Year 11 students Ellouise, Brooke, Hope, Logan for great lesson participation as well as neat work done in lesson.
Mr Godfrey has nominated Year 13 students Seth and Oscar H for their derivation of an electromagnetism equation. Also nominated is Year 12 student Dawa for always setting an excellent example to his peers and Year 11 students Robert, Ollie J, Oliver W, Thomas, Ava and Julia for their work in preparation for the upcoming Physics assessment.
Ms Jaiyeola has nominated Year 10 student Leighton who has shown excellent improvement in his excellent work ethics and focus in lessons, Filip G, Wiktoria P, Aleksandra A have also displayed consistent hard work and diligence in class.
Year 9 students Natalia J , Isabelle, Harley and Lucas H have shown excellent work ethics and progress in Science and Year 8 students Alisha, Eleanor and Nicole have consistently worked hard in lesson and have also presented excellent work. Finally, Year 7 students Lucie, Kate, Sophia and Rose have participated fantastically in lessons and shown great enthusiasm.

Year 13 Biology students for excellent work in the recent pags.
Year 11BC2 students for great engagement following a recent move, in particular Oliver, Ursula, Tyler, Elina, Angela and Veronika, Marian, Mihal, Xavier, Esosa and Zsofia (11BC). Miss Rasmussen would also like to congratulate Naythen for great work outside the classroom.
Finally, Viktoria, Ivan, Tyler (10BC2) for their consistent hard work and Nicole (10BBI) for amazing work on her recent progress check.
Mr Abnett would like to say well done to Year 8 student Taylor-Lee Year 8 for showing excellent enthusiasm with in Science recently and for being eager to share his ideas with the class. Year 9 students Riley, Ella and Ruby-Mae who have done some amazing work surrounding Ionic bonding.
Year 10 student Deliana who has pushed herself throughout the first few weeks of term in Chemistry.

Year 7 students Antonina N, Clyde P, Emmie M and Anotidaishe for excellent work and effort in all their Science lessons, Lily A, David C, Sophie F, and Ryker for great participation in science lessons.
Year 9 students Amber B, Megan S, Avani G. For showing great fortitude by persisting with a hard subject and Year 10 students Lucas B, Evie B, Benjamin M, Sebastien S and Hollie W for consistently maintaining a high level of work every lesson and actively participating in classroom discussions.
Imperial College Planetarium Visit:
Corby Technical School was thrilled to be able to host a planetarium from Imperial College in conjunction with Oundle School. All of our year 7 students and our KS5 physicists experienced an interactive show about our solar system where they were able to view planets, moons and other components in an amazing interactive display run by a presenter from Imperial College London.
