Our third grade students and retesters took the IREAD assessment on March 14th and March 15th of this week. On Monday, March 20th we will call families for students who did not pass the IREAD assessment and discuss next steps. We will send IREAD scores home on Tuesday with students.
We have one more week before we leave for spring break. I hope everyone enjoys the time they will have with their families and friends. Please create many memories and be safe. We will return to school on April 3rd.

We are super excited to announce that we will be creating a Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for Gold Academy. This organization will be a collaboration between parents, teachers, and staff working together to make the Gold Academy a great place for our kids to thrive. 6th Grade Career Day
We have so many fun activities planned for our sixth graders for the last week of school! During that week, we will also have a Career Day.
We would like to invite community members to come and speak with our 6th graders about their career field. To support our guests, we will have talking points and students would rotate to different stations. Students have shown interest in many different career paths (electrician, police, plummer, business owner, etc).

Morning arrival
All students who are dropped off to school in the morning must be dropped off in the car rider line. Students are only allowed to be dropped off at the front of the building after 7:40 a.m. When dropping students off in the front, please be mindful of staff members trying to enter the building. Please do not pull behind the school buses or drop off students in the parking lot.
