Robin DeLozier and the FCCLA Recognized
AHS Family and Consumer Science teacher, Robin DeLozier, and our FCCLA chapter were recently recognized in the Oklahoma FCCLA Connection Magazine.
Northeast Progam Specialist commended "Robin DeLozier for her dedication to FCS students and FCCLA members throughout this pandemic which has proposed many changes within the FCS classroom and student organization. She has remained steadfast in pursuing students to join the FCCLA organization and has found ways to keep them engaged. "
The Oklahoma FCCLA Connection magazine features some of the activities that chapters have been able to participate in while following safety protocol. Adair FCCLA is featured on page 8 of the magazine.

Mobile Hotspot Connectivity Assistance *
Cherokee Nation continues to evaluate opportunities for providing assistance to Cherokee Nation citizens that lack internet connectivity at their homes.
Due to COVID-19 many students have been required to complete coursework virtually, which in some cases is impossible because of the inaccessibility and affordability of broadband. Other citizens are unable to afford Internet due to loss of income because of the COVID-19 public health emergency.
Through the Mobile Hotspot Connectivity Assistance program, the Cherokee Nation will distribute mobile Wi-Fi hotspots that include up to a year of service, to Cherokee Nation citizens with no internet connectivity.Eligibility Requirements
Citizenship: Applicant must be a current Cherokee Nation citizen on or before July 13, 2020, or applying on behalf of a K-12 student who is a Cherokee Nation citizen.
Connectivity: Applicant, or students for which the applicant is applying, shall not have existing internet service or mobile Wi-Fi hotspots in the home. If a household's student(s) go to a caregiver while on distance learning and that caregiver doesn't have internet, households may qualifiy.
Income: NO income limit
Residency: NO residency requirement
Age: NO Age RequirementCherokee Nation understands that in some rural areas of the reservation cellular service is minimal or non-existent. If you believe that your household is within one of these areas, please complete the application and email Cherokee-Connect@cherokee.org.
Wifi for Distance Learners
The Cathryn E. Lee Memorial Community Center provides Wifi in their parking lot.
