We are excited to offer the BOOK FAIR again in the Elementary Library. Students will have an opportunity to visit the fair throughout the week and it will be open on each of the conference nights.

Please note that the fair does not begin until next Monday (Feb. 21) both in person or virtually.

We are pleased to see that our cases are as low as they have been in a while. You can click the buttons below to access the dashboard and/or Safe Learning Plan. There has not been any changes to the Safe Learning Plan.

We wanted to communicate the testing dates to all families in order to avoid as many conflicts as possible. Our third, fourth and fifth graders will take the Reading and Math MCA test this spring. In addition, the fifth graders will also take the Science MCA.

Test Tips for Parent - Student Discussions

1. Practice at home - Item samplers provide examples of the types of questions that are on the test. These can be accessed at home and practiced. You can find item samplers for each grade on the PearsonAccess website. http://minnesota.pearsonaccessnext.com/ and click on preparing for testing. Online test tutorials are also available.

2. More information on the MCAs can be accessed on the Minnesota Department of Education Website. http://education.state.mn.us/MDE/fam/tests/.

If we have to cancel school due to inclement weather again we will send out learning activities for our students by 10 AM the day of. Teachers have created bingo boards and other fun activities for the students to engage in at home.
