Good Morning E.L.M. Families,
Happy Friday & Happy Easter! Today we will have an Easter Egg Hunt at 2:00pm in our school playground. This event will be sponsored by our PTG.
Today also marks the last day for our Penny-A-Thon. So far we have raised just over $1000, and we still have one more day to go. Thank you to everyone for your generous donations for the PTG.

A Note from the Library:
Dear Emma L. Miller 3rd - 6th Grade Families,
This month, we have been studying forms of poetry in Library class. Students have been introduced to the elements of poetry, as well as the many different styles. Emma L. Miller students have been invited to participate in the 27th Annual National Student Poetry Contest through The America Library of Poetry. The poems will be mailed in four days before the April 30th deadline. Winners will be selected and notified by mail towards the end of September. For this reason, students are required to include their home address on the entry form with their submission. Contest entry is free, and there is a $500 dollar grand prize, along with a random drawing from all submissions for several additional prizes. Copies of the students' poetry submission will be sent home, as well as bound in a collection of poems to be kept in the library. For more information, please visit https://www.libraryofpoetry.com/
Respectfully,
Ms. Maggie Donahue
