Hello 3rd Graders! Please look at each ELA Course below (in the chart) to help you prepare for the week of November 5-9.

IMPORTANT-Literature and Comprehension Course Information!!

The OLS Literature and Comprehension Course does NOT mark Literature lessons over due or completed late. The daily/weekly plan does NOT allow me to set or change due dates. Please make sure you are following the lessons in the chart below. All students should be working in Unit 7 and reading in the K12 Weather or Not Magazine that was provided to you.

"Too Many" Challenge Contest

Write a sentence about this picture. The sentence must contain the words "too many".

Each week, I'll have a new picture. At the end of November, we will have a contest and the winner will get to be a student moderator and host their reading Class Connect.

Please email me your sentence by Friday, Nov. 9 at 12:00pm to be included in the contest.

Continue to work on those multiplication facts! Complete 3 or more sessions this week - make sure are logging in using the instructions that were sent. These are participation TGA's that should be completed weekly (9 points each). 3rd Grade Social Studies with Mrs. Lipscomb

Hello 3rd graders, this week we will continue with unit 3 Communities Are Everywhere. Please complete these 2 lessons:

lesson 5: People and Their Surroundings
lesson 6: Describing Locations

During class on Friday, November 9th we will be working through lesson 6 together. We will define the term “relative location” and practice locating places on a map and a globe.

Every week you will check the grade level newsletter to see which Music Studio lessons to complete. Just open Unit 1, Lesson 1 in the OLS and click the link to take you to Music Studio! (This is why everything in the OLS for Music EXCEPT for Unit 1, Lesson 1 has been marked skipped.)

Happy Friday!!! I know yall have been busy working hard in your lessons all week.

Health/PE Update:

To help with your school day, we will no longer have our Health and PE CC. This is a great time you can spend working on your OLS lessons and TGAs

TGAs are available in the Gradebook. If you are missing any please get them completed.
