SMART 16.1 Update

The latest SMART update is now available to you! You can choose to update your current version to the new version now and experience new SMART Lab interactive activities, new tools, new quizzes, and new themes.


A word of caution, though: DON'T UPDATE to the new version if you use SMART Response clickers. They will not work.

T-TESS and Technology: A Beautiful Friendship

As you may have noticed, embedding technology into your classroom lessons is a big component of T-TESS. When you demonstrate your knowledge of the SAMR model (referenced above), you're sure to win! Let's see some incorporation of each level!

New Teacher Laptop Storage

Please note that the new teacher laptops issued do have limited storage. It is NOT recommended that you try to download Google Drive to your desktop. It just may crash if you do.

School Wires is the new hosting site for LISD! It will go live in mid-October with the district, and our individual campuses will follow shortly with an expected launch date in mid-November. Be sure you save any information from your EdLine pages that you want to transfer over!

Looking for cool videos to incorporate into your lessons? Discovery Education is for you! Best of all, the district purchases the subscription! Explore this cool tool by logging into our LISD website and clicking the DE icon in the upper right corner.
