These workshops sponsored by the Education & Counseling Center (ECC) will help you gain further knowledge and experience to guide you in your paths as educators and counselors. *CEUs will be given to attending counseling site-supervisors.

1/9 3-5pm 'QPR'
Often called the "CPR of Mental Health", QPR teaches participants a simple three step process for recognizing and providing support during a suicidal crisis.
2/13 3-5pm 'Journaling to Enhance Self-Care'
In this interactive workshop, participants will learn and practice creative journaling techniques that are useful as tools for enhancing self-care.
3/13 3-5pm 'Motivational Interviewing'
Have you ever wanted someone to change their behavior? This workshop explores the process of change and provides participants with skills to tap into a person's intrinsic motivation to change.
Depression and anxiety are the two most common mental illness. This workshop will explore the signs and symptoms of both illnesses as well as treatment options available.
5/8 3-5pm 'Stress Management'
This workshop will help participants evaluate and understand their own stress management as well as learn stress management techniques.
Every 2nd Tuesday of the month! 3-5pm in Education and Counseling Center Room 101
