Homecoming Update and Changes!

Homecoming is quickly approaching! The parade and assembly will be Friday, October 1st, starting at 8:30 a.m. The parade will start at 8:30 am with the assembly following in the high school gym. After the parade and assembly, the high school will be conducting safety drills.

The Homecoming Dance has been moved to Sunday, October 3rd, from 7 - 10 pm in the high school cafeteria. The change has been made so that our students are available to attend the dance. We have dozens of students that will not be able to make the dance on Saturday due to numerous scheduling conflicts. We know it is not ideal to have a dance on a Sunday, but it will allow more of our students to attend, as well as open up restaurants and picture venues for our students. Two other local schools are having their homecoming dance on Saturday, October 2nd. We will have a regular, full school day on Monday, October 4th.

HOMECOMING WEEK

HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK:

THEME: “Falcons Got Game” (Board Games)

September 28th - October 1st
- MONDAY: “Falcon Family Game Night” (wear pjs / comfy clothes)
- TUESDAY: “Guess Who” (dress as someone else for others to guess who you are)
- WEDNESDAY: “Scrabble” (wear a white shirt with a letter drawn or pinned to the front - students will work to spell out words throughout the day)
- THURSDAY: “Sorry (not sorry)” (Powder puff game - support your team’s color)
- FRIDAY: “Falcon Monopoly” (wear GREEN / Falcon gear!!)

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

Thursday, Sept 30 - Powder Puff Game, 1 pm
Friday. Oct 1 - Homecoming Parade, 8:30 am
Friday, Oct 1 - Homecoming Assembly, following parade @ BHS Gymnasium
Friday, Oct 1 - Homecoming Football Game vs. Eldon 7pm
Sunday, Oct 3 - Homecoming Dance, 7:00 - 10:00pm, @ BHS Cafeteria

HOMECOMING COURT

The Homecoming King will be announced at the assembly on Friday. The Queen will be announced during half-time of the football game.

HOMECOMING DANCE

The homecoming dance will be Sunday, October 3rd, and is for high school students only.

DANCE is held @ BHS Cafeteria, 7-10 p.m.
TICKETS are sold at the door, $5 per person or $8 per couple.
OUT-OF-SCHOOL DATES MUST be approved prior to dance.
NO JEANS PLEASE!

VOLLEYBALL PINK OUT GAME

The volleyball program is having a PINK OUT NIGHT when we host Helias on October 5th! To help raise money, we are selling T-shirt’s, available in pink or gray.

All proceeds will go to Ellis Fischel Cancer Center specifically to help women in our community fighting breast cancer.

Orders are due by Monday, September 20th.
