Another week in the Books!

Good Afternoon, Families.

We are moving right along here at Cunnigham and the year is officially underway. Our teachers are working so hard, our students are learning and fun is being had by all.

While our assemblies are on Zoom we are going to extend the invitation to all Cunningham Families. We'd love to have you join us on Friday morning at 7:45. We alternate between PK - 2nd and 3rd - 5th every other week. Please see the schedule and Zoom link below.

We are continuing to monitor conditions and will make a determination on how we will proceed with Back-to-School night. We want to make sure we are being safe and we do want you to see the rooms. More to come. . .

We hope everyone has a great 3-day weekend and we'll see everyone on Tuesday.

Dear Families,

Back to school means back to COOL...as in - calm, cool and ready to learn! This year we are implementing The Zones of Regulation, school-wide. The Zones of Regulation® is a framework and curriculum for teaching students strategies for emotional and sensory self-management. Rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy, The Zones approach uses four colors to help students identify how they are feeling in the moment given their emotions and level of alertness as well as guide them to strategies to support regulation.

The Zones of Regulation can easily be used at home too! In the coming weeks, Checking in with yourself and your families members about which "zone are they in" will soon become a common language in your household.
