Students Build a Robot Arm
Students in Mr. Herron's Robotics class have been working all year to create various robots. This group of students, comprised of Robby A., Matthew S., and Alex M., created a 4DOF (Degrees of Freedom) robot. It can move around and lift up objects as large as a soda can! Their next goal is to build a catapult!
Students Working Hard in 8th Grade Math!
Mrs. Mote’s eighth grade class is reviewing and preparing for an assessment and completing their Khan Academy for the week.
SIN, COS, TAN...OH MY!
In Mrs.Buchanan’s second period Geometry class students are learning when and how to use SIN, COS, or TAN in their calculations. They are then learning how to use these functions on their calculator to solve problems.
Freshmen Learn CPR from Williamsburg Fire Department
We would like to send a special thank you to the Williamsburg Fire Department, who came out last week to teach our Freshmen how to administer CPR.
Students are Learning So Much In Life Skills!
Students in Mr. Stahley's Life Skills class are finishing up their walls this week. Over the last several weeks students have been learning how to stud walls, cut, install, and finish drywall, paint, and wire outlets and lights. In the next unit the students will be learning the basics of home plumbing.
If you ordered a Wildcat Blanket from the Junior Class fundraiser, they are in and ready for you pick up! They will be available at WHS on Saturday December 9 from 9:00 - 10:00am, and at WHS on Saturday, December 16 during the Boys Basketball Games from 6:00 - 9:00pm. If they are not picked up during those times, they will be given to whom you ordered from and you'll need to collect it from that person.
