RES Weekly Buzz

We had a terrific week with many fun moments. We celebrated the 100th day of school at RES, Dalmation Day in 1st grade, and Penguin Day in 2nd grade. It's always enjoyable to see the students dress in special clothes for these types of events.
Our students especially enjoyed warmer weather during their daily recess. We have enjoyed spending some time with them outside, running, playing, having kind conversations, and inviting others to join in their games. There is nothing better than hearing the laughter of children who are truly enjoying being a kid.
We are moving into our last week of school before the February vacation. Please remember that Friday 2/17 is a half day of school with an 11:30am dismissal for Pre-K and 12:00 pm dismissal for K-5.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend.

5) Please remember to keep your child home if they have any of the following symptoms and/or illnesses:
Symptoms for different illnesses can often look very similar. Please review the illnesses listed below and monitor your child closely. Always do an at-home rapid COVID test if any symptoms develop. Reach out to your child’s pediatrician as well. If your child tests positive for COVID (please see guidelines here: RPS COVID Protocols 2022-2023) or is diagnosed with RSV or influenza, they MUST remain home until they are no longer considered contagious. Any absences related to illness can be excused if a doctor's note is provided to the school.
