July 2023: CCS Summer Updates & News
A Message from Mr. and Mrs. Yearwood
A Look at What Has Been Going on in July
PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN READINESS DAYS
A great time was had by all during our readiness days. On the first day, students and parents checked in, met their teachers and classmates, sang a song, enjoyed a puppet show, participated in classroom activities, and more. The students were so impressive with following directions and listening to their teachers!
Just when we thought they couldn't get any better, on day two our students arrived with big smiles as they jumped out of their cars in a practice morning drop off and hopped into their class lines in the gym. They were amazing! Day two included learning more about classroom procedures, some time in the bouncy house, and even a shaved ice treat.
It is going to be a great year with these little guys and girls. We can't wait to have them back on campus when school begins!
*Thank you for the prayers for Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Parker during this time. It broke her heart to be sick and miss this event. She can't wait for school to begin so she can get to know her new students. And, a huge thank you to Mrs. Rice for stepping in to help out!
CHRISTMAS IN JULY: PANCAKES WITH SANTA
It was such a fun morning at our Christmas in July event! It was so great to have Santa visit us during his off season. While he was with us, he took some time to share his love for Jesus as he shared about Christmas and the birth of our Savior.
Santa said he will be coming back to visit in December. We can’t wait to see him again!
Special thanks to our PTF (Parent Teacher Fellowship) and everyone that supported to make this day possible!
