Thank you to everyone who worked to plan, organize, set up, execute and/or tear down the Arty Party and the Veterans day ceremony. Both events were a huge success. I appreciate all the effort and hard work that went into making these events something we could all be proud of. None of this would have happened if it weren't for everyone pulling together and working as a team. To show our appreciation, everyone who worked the Arty Party to set up, work a station, and/or tear down and set up for the Veterans Day celebration, please come by and see me in the morning. You will be given a pass to wear jeans for the entire week! Just to let you now the silent auction raised $1828.00 collectively for the classrooms. You can get with Ms. Maggie to find out your exact amount.

Thursday--Coffee with the Principal 7:15-7:45 in the library, Pictures with Santa at 8:00 in the cafeteria--no morning assembly.

Friday--Turkey and Dressing is on the menu in the cafeteria for lunch, Spirit day! Wear your jeans and favorite Razorback shirt, the Terrific Trice Twirlers, Gymnastics Team, and Tin-inkling teams will perform at the Mistletoe fair at 2:30.

PBISWorld.com

Many of you have may have heard me mention a free website that can aid you with students struggling from things like disorganization to tantrums. The website is PBISWorld.com it has comprehensive and easy to use interventions organized into the tier 1 through tier 3 framework. It is designed to help guide users through the PBIS implementation process, starting with behavior identification and offering suggestions for interventions and data collection tools. PBISWorld is a great tool to help you with struggling students. As with any intervention, PBIS does suggest that you try an intervention for no less than 4 weeks and up to 6 months prior to moving to the next tier. What does not work this week, may work next week!!! I found this short tutorial video on Youtube. If you have any questions please feel free to let me know. I have used this website extensively and have found it be very valuable when working with difficult or struggling students.

This is a prepaid event. Students will bring home an order form prior to the day of pictures. Only students who pre-order pictures will have their picture taken with Santa.
