Virginia Kindness Week
This year, Virginia Kindness Week is celebrated from February 13th to February 17th. The purpose of Kindness Week is to recognize that simple day-to-day acts of kindness enable our schools, communities, and state to be a kinder, safer, healthier and more inclusive place to live, work, learn and play.
All five of our schools are encouraging and promoting kindness through use of counseling lessons, spirit days, kindness pledges, and more!
As part of Virginia Kindness Week, families and students are encouraged to participate in the Virginia Kindness Challenge. Select from the kindness idea banks or come up with your own kind acts to fill up your challenge board.
