January 2024
Welcome Back
Happy New Year Loma Heights students and families, welcome back! We hope everyone had an enjoyable and restful Winter break and holiday season. We look forward to seeing all the students smiling faces on Thursday, January 4th. A friendly reminder that students cannot be dropped off before 7:30 am. Staff is not on campus until then and there is no one to look after students. It is also very cold outside in the mornings for students to be waiting outside.
Another reminder that our winter protocol is students will have indoor recess whenever the "feels like" temperature is 35 degrees or below. Above 35 degrees students do go outside for recess. Please make sure students are wearing jackets. If you are in need of a jacket, please reach out to the school.
Thank You.

Graduate Profile Focus for January- Be Responsible
This month graduate profile focus is to be responsible. Responsibility is when you do what you are supposed to do, take care of things that are important to you, and make good choices. Along with this focus we continue to encourage all our students to read every night. Continue working on getting your reading logs completed to receive a coin to get a free book. There is power in reading!!!
