MOCK - Interim Assesessments
BISD participates in all STAAR/EOC subjects and grade-levels. It is important that our testing environment mimic the actual STAAR day's processes so students have a quiet, safe, and productive space. We ask that parents make all efforts to have your child at school on these days so students have this experience and we get the most accurate results possible from the students. We use the results of the interim assessment to plan for intervention, tutoring, and test prep/strategies at each campus. Please play close attention to your child's school calendar to prepare for these assessments.
Texas Assessment Preformance Report
At the January board meeting the 22-23 TAPR report was presented. If you would like to see review the Bowie ISD Annual Report click here.
The Texas Academic Performance Reports (TAPR) pull together a wide range of information on the performance of students in each school and district in Texas every year. Performance is shown disaggregated by student groups, including ethnicity and socioeconomic status. The reports also provide extensive information on school and district staff, programs, and student demographics.
The 2022–23 TAPR are available for the state and every public school, district, or region of Texas. You can also find each Bowie ISD campus TAPR report on the campuses' webpage under the "Our School" tab and "Accountability."
RAK Week
We celebrate Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Week from February 12th to February 15th. It's a celebration of all the ways we can become a positive influence in each other's lives. Each campus will be doing activities to encourage and model kindness.
