How is it October already? It seems like it was just last week that we were welcoming students back after a wonderful summer, and now we are talking about Halloween candy. It has been a whirlwind of learning and growing, but it has been fantastic! With Thanksgiving just around the corner, and our first school-wide special presentation in many years, there is always something more to look forward to.

As a side note: I hope you can get outside and enjoy this amazing weather, it feels more like early September than October...

We remind all parents and students to use the nearest crosswalk during picking up after school. Please do not cross the road in the front of the bus loading area. We have school patrols at the northeast and southeast corners of the school for everyone's safety. Thank you.

It is that time of year again! Planning is underway for piano lessons offered during school time starting in the fall. Students need a piano or full-sized keyboard (88keys) at home to practice on. If interested, please phone or text Shawn Sunderland at 780-871-1216. Qualifications : B.A., B.Ed., A.R.C.T., L.T.C.L.

Dine at Boston Pizza and earn cash for Kitscoty Elementary. Lloydminster Boston Pizza has developed a program where families can earn money for Kitscoty Elementary School, simply eat in or take out from Lloydminster Boston Pizza and deliver receipts to Kitscoty Elementary School. KES will earn 5% of receipts that are handed in. Proceeds will go to our Book Bingo.

Kitscoty Community United Church is pleased to announce that they are having their Fall Supper at Kitscoty Community Hall, from 4:30-7:00. Come and enjoy a turkey supper with all the fixings. All donations of food (especially desserts) or your time )prepping veggies, table and chair set up etc.) will be gratefully accepted. Call 780-846-2906
