Message from the Principal
What a busy week! We read. We wrote. We explored properties of matter. We sang. We "stretched" paper. We practiced dividing decimals. We mapped the world. I can't wait to see what next week brings.
Have a great weekend!

Patriot's Day
On Monday, our students honored the memory of those who lost their lives on 9/11 by flying the flag at half mast, laying candles at the flagpole, singing, and playing Taps.
Hello Week
Picture Day is Coming!
Picture Day is September 27. Students will have their pictures taken during classes. All ordering will be done online this year.
Activities Update
Middle School sports started up this week and the turnout was AMAZING! We have 8 runners on the cross country team and 38 volleyball players! We are so fortunate to play in the Middle School Instructional League where kids can be a part of a team and have exposure to sports that may be new to them.
To accommodate the high number of girls coming out for volleyball, we have decided that the 7th and 8th graders will play in the league games, which is common practice of the schools we play. To avoid "cutting" players and to allow volleyball instruction and participation in a school activity, the sixth graders will practice with the team and play a scrimmage game prior to home games.
Thank you to Coach Rauls, Coach Libby, Coach Steinkamp and Coach Papan for providing this wonderful opportunity for our students to be a part of something instructional and fun!
