Happy Birthday Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Administrative Updates
- I had an opportunity to attend an outstanding 2 day professional learning opportunity last week facilitated by Rowland Dent regarding Crisis Prevention. I look forward to sharing my learning with the staff.
- Remember that every day counts with implementing our rigorous instructional program. A teacher last week shared "I am glad that I didn't wait until I received my DRA data in October to meet with small groups." YES!! This teacher did not waste any time getting started with those guided reading groups.
- Please don't wait until the last minute to enter grades prior to report cards. Ensure there is a balance of graded assignments for our students. Let's avoid grade changes!!
- It will be a cold week - students should have zipped up coats on and hats when they come outside for dismissal. If you notice our children are not wearing proper clothing to school for the winter months please contact parents.
- PLEASE monitor students during bus dismissal - all teachers should either be going out with car/van riders or to the bus loop with bus riders.
