Dear Parents,

The Portsmouth Middle School PTO has joined with the Newport County Dinner Club, benefiting

both our school and our appetites! The Newport County Dinner Club is the premier dining program

in Newport County, and focuses on the restaurants we love and visit frequently. It offers

2 for 1 dinners, lunches and breakfasts at 50 local establishments including entertainment

venues like the Newport Playhouse & Cabaret Restaurant. Don’t eat out without it!

The Newport County Dinner Club dining program costs only $20.00 (paying for itself with just

one or two dinners) and $5.00 from each book sale goes to the Porthsmouth Middle School. That is

not only a terrific value for you and your family, but a great benefit to your school. The 2022-2023

Newport County Dinner Club book is valid December 1, 2022 through November 30, 2023

and is a terrific holiday and thank you gift.

We encourage you to purchase one for your family and challenge you to ask your friends and

neighbors to purchase one or many! As an incentive:

Attached is a flyer and sign-up sheet. Payment is made to the Portsmouth Middle School PTO, and books will be given to the student participants in December for distribution. Please return the enclosed form and attached checks by Dec 9th!

On behalf of Portsmouth Police Chief Brian Peters and Fire Chief Paul Ford, I would like to invite you to a PSD Parent Safety Forum on December 14th. Portsmouth public safety representatives and school and district leaders will be on hand for an overview of district safety procedures to be followed by a question and answer period. I hope you can join us for this conversation on these important topics.
