Positive Things to Say to Your Child
* You don’t have to be perfect to be amazing.
* You are worth it.
* Don’t be afraid to be yourself.
Mrs. Marroquin's STEAM Class - Kindergarten & 1st Grades
Mrs. Marroquin from the STEAM Lab here. I'm always excited to share the fun things we have worked on in class. We have been having a blast in STEAM. Ask your child what they are doing in STEAM!
I'm going to spotlight kindergarten and first grade this week.
The kindergarteners are starting to learn about forces. They are learning about how things move, pushes, and pulls. They created a color monster by moving a marble on a tray with paint. They practiced by pushing and pulling the tray. Take a look at how they came out. They had a great time.
The first graders are starting to learn about light. We learned about stained glass, and how it was created. We created our own stained glass with clear plastic and permanent-colored markers. They did great. They love how they look with the light shining through them.
I can't wait to share more exciting projects we are working on in the STEAM lab.
