Moore MST Magnet School

There is much to celebrate at Moore this week. See some of the recognitions and accomplishments below. At the same time, we continue to move forward, encouraging our students to do their best each day. We believe that students who apply themselves will learn a lot and have a rewarding middle school experience. We ask parents to make every effort to deliver your child to school on time every day so that they are present when instruction begins at 8:25am. Attending morning tutorials from 7:50-8:20 is another way to be be proactive.

Thank you to all those who volunteered and attended the Fall Festival on Friday evening. The students had a wonderful time, and our PTA membership drive was very successful. Our PTA continues to support our school by volunteering and funding special projects for our student body.

We are proud of our students who made the effort to try out for the All-Region Orchestra on Saturday. Thank you, Mr. Striley, for you direction of the Moore MST Orchestra.

On Saturday, October 1, the boys cross country team won the district championship. Both ladies finished in the top 15 in the district.

These young ladies have shown dedication to improving their skills in dance class and have already performed two impressive numbers at school pep rallies. Congratulations to each of these students for being involved in the performing arts and campus life.

Thank you to these gentlemen for being a part of the HERD. Our students appreciate the morning greeting at the door whenever you are here. We'd also like to encourage others to join in this encouraging activity. You can help build our community and be a positive role model by volunteering an hour of your time to greet students from 7:30-8:30 on one of the following mornings.

November 11 - Veterans' Day (We'd love to have veterans, community helpers and first responders participate on this day).
