This school year, we will implement a new way for parents/guardians to submit absences. This process will allow absence requests to be submitted ahead of time in Skyward. Please click the button below to learn how.

*****ALL Visitors attending the pep rally will need to get a visitors badge from the main office. To avoid long lines and frustration, we will allow those planning on attending to bring their drivers license to the front office from now until October 4th to scan in for a visitors badge.****

LBMS Cheerleaders will have pink paper-cutout awareness ribbons available in the cafeteria during lunch on Monday and Tuesday. Students who would like to fill one out in honor of those currently battling cancer or those who have lost the battle with cancer may do so. These ribbons will be displayed during the Knockout Cancer Pep Rally on Wed.

There is a PINK OUT theme for this pep rally.

This is an incentive based "fun period" that students have the opportunity to qualify for throughout each grading period. Academics, attendance, behavior, and overall respect are of great importance to us.

Pirate Pride Criteria

• No missing assignments
• Current average must be a 70 or above for all classes
• No more than 2 total days of unexcused absences (equal to no more than 16 class periods)
• No discipline referrals
• Respectful and prepared for class
• No more than 2 unexcused tardies
• All fines $15 and under paid in full
• Fines greater than $15 - payment must be started

We have several signs throughout the building that say "Best is the STANDARD." As discussed on the second day of school, this slogan is applicable to every aspect of life. Wether it's studying, competing, helping others, cleaning, behaving positively, or anything else, we want students to do their absolute BEST. If their mindset is "Best is the STANDARD," great things are going to happen!!

Parents/Guardians may bring a lunch for their students. Lunches can be dropped off in the front office and students will be allowed to pick-up their food when they are dismissed for lunch.

**Due to security concerns, no outside entity (DoorDash, Uber Eats, Favor, Pizza delivery, Chick-Fil-A, etc.) will be allowed to drop off lunches for students.
