Staff of the Year
Congratulations to our outstanding staff members who are their campus Teachers, Paraprofessionals, Rookie Teachers of the Year, and our Department Employees of the Year. We appreciate your service and dedication to Jarrell ISD.
Welcome Bob Mabry - New Executive Director of Human Resources
The Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved Bob Mabry as the district's new Executive Director of Human Resources.
"Mr. Mabry has an impressive record working as an educator in school districts across the state. He's been a teacher, principal, and administrator. His experience perfectly positions him to lead our Human Resources Department. We're confident he will support and retain our incredible staff while recruiting the best educators for our students," said Crystal Phalen, President of the Jarrell ISD Board of Trustees.
Bob Mabry joins Jarrell ISD from Liberty Hill ISD, where he is the Executive Director of Human Resources. During his 29 years of educational experience, Mr. Mabry has served as a social studies teacher, assistant principal, and principal at schools in Carroll, Keller, and Highland Park ISDs.
"I am beyond excited to join the amazing team at Jarrell ISD and work with an outstanding leader like Dr. Hicks. Jarrell is another fast growing district with a small town feel. I have experienced that same rapid increase in student enrollment at Liberty Hill for the last fifteen years and have learned a great deal about the growth process. The first time that I visited the Jarrell ISD, it just felt like a great fit. I would like to thank Dr. Hicks and the Board of Trustees for this opportunity and I can't wait to get started," Mr. Mabry said.
Bob Mabry earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas Austin and a master's degree from Stephen F. Austin University. He will join Jarrell ISD in May.
