September 2022
Autumn is here!
Hello Williams Community!
It's officially September and we're off to the races again. This month marks our transition from summer to autumn and with that, my hope for much cooler temperatures. This month also brings the fun of Labor Day, Grandparents Day, Constitution Day and Back to School Night. In addition, we have some amazing extra-curricular opportunities that we will be offering our Wildcats which include the ELO After School Enrichment Program (grades 1-5), Chess Club (grades 4-5), WIldTAPS Tap Dancing Program (grades 1-2), Student Council (grades 4-5), Video Bulletin Crew (grades 3-5), Circle of Friends (grades 1-5) and Golf Club (grades 4-5).
We will continue focusing on safety and the character trait of "respect" this month. The goal is to start the school year on the right foot. I will be holding behavior expectation assemblies with each grade level. School Resource Officer Karina Hurtado will be visiting classrooms to introduce herself. Plus, we will resume safety drills to make sure all students practice what to do in case of an emergency. Our campus assistant team plays an important role in keeping Williams safe every day. Please remind all students to be respectful of them as they work around campus.
Finally, a little tip to help our families out. PLEASE write your child's name on the inside of their sweaters/jackets, as well as their backpacks and water bottles. A lot of items are being left behind on the playground, cafeteria, quad and classrooms. This will make it easier for our Wildcats to find their lost items.
Thank you for all you do to support our Wildcats!

School Principal

CHARACTER COUNTS TRAIT: RESPECT

Respect: Show respect to everyone • Use good manners and language • Be considerate of feelings • Never bully, hit or hurt others
Let's work together!
Let's team up to stay healthy. Please screen our Wildcats BEFORE they come to school. Remember, students should stay home when they feel sick. Please notify your child's teacher and our office if your child tests positive for COVID-19. Our health office team is ready to assist and support all of our Wildcat families. COVID FAQ'S Link
