Patriot Family Gazette 1/12/24

Patriot Families,

We had such a great time celebrating our Patriots this week with our Legacy Assembly's for the 2nd Nine Weeks. January is in full swing and our mid-year testing has begun. Ask your Patriot about how much they have grown this year in Reading, as we completed the mid-year iReady assessments. Math iReady will begin next week so we look forward to tracking our progress and meeting goals.

All TISD campuses will be closed on Monday, January 15th, with school resuming on Tuesday. With any impending inclement weather, Tyler ISD communication department will notify all families and staff as soon as possible for any delays or closures. While we hope we are here on Tuesday, we also want to put safety first.

Mark your calendars later this month on January 26th for Math, Makers and more! Bring an appetite as we will be problem solving and serving pizza as well!

- Please drop off by 7:50. Our tardy bell rings at that time and we want our Patriots ready to learn with us.

- We cannot release kids after 2:45 due to dismissal procedures. If you have appointments, please make arrangements to pick up by this time.

- If you are dropping off before 7:15, please use the back loop. This area is staffed and students are directed to the cafe or gym. After 7:15, our front loop will be open.

How can you purchase baseball merchandise specific for Tyler Legacy? The link below is a store the baseball team has set up selling spirit gear and items are available in youth sizes. The online store includes specifics for delivery to each school and a baseball booster club member will deliver the items to each elementary/middle school once the orders come in should your students order. We are currently exploring options to have a Future Red Raiders program with baseball. Thanks so much!
