Principal's Message
Happy Friday Cougar Families!
November is Native American Heritage Month. The purpose of Native American Heritage Month is to provide a platform for Native people in the United States of America to share their culture, traditions, music, crafts, dance, and ways and concepts of life.
Donβt forget to turn your clocks back this weekend for daylight savings. We hope all our students and families enjoy the extra hour of sleep and show up on Monday ready to learn!
Lastly, next Thursday is the end of the Q2 progress reports. This is usually a time when a lot of deadlines and tests coincide. Please check in with your students about their learning and offer them all the love and encouragement they need to do their best

Changes to Attendance Verification
We are making adjustments to our ParentSquare Absence Verification notifications to make notifying the school and clearing absences more convenient for our families.
When your student has been marked absent for any period during the day, at the end of the day, you will receive an email/text/app notification that will allow you to respond directly to the attendance office. Please include the reason for your student's absence. If you have any questions about the absence, please reach out to your student's teacher for additional information.
