Welcome to our new Rachel Carson students and families! All current parents and guardians of CPMS students are automatically members of the PTC.

Our events, programs, school support, and enthusiasm make up this vibrant volunteer community and are indeed, POWERED BY YOU.

It’s time to spread some holiday cheer to our Cedar Park teachers and staff! The Staff Appreciation volunteers are hosting a COOKIE EXCHANGE on Tuesday, December 14th to say “thank you” to our Cedar Park teachers, administrators, counselors, librarians, custodians, and ALL of the other incredible staff that take care of our kids and the school everyday.

Please sign up to bring 2 dozen cookies to the school. This is a great time to share one of grandma’s prized recipes or make a treat that showcases your family’s culture. Homemade goodies are now permitted; store-bought treats are welcome, too.

There are two opportunities to drop-off cookies in front of the school:

• Monday, December 13th, 3:45pm-4:15pm
  
• Tuesday, December 14th, 9am - 9:30am
  

You are welcome to bring the treats either day regardless of which day you sign up for,

Our goal is 2 dozen holiday treats for each staff member - 130 dozen in total! The more the merrier, so even if the sign-up slots are full, you’re welcome to drop-off.

Thank you for helping to show our Cedar Park/Rachel Carson teachers and staff how much we appreciate them this holiday season!

Staff Appreciation Volunteers

At the Timeberwolves Night event we were able to fill several committee leads. Thanks to those of you who signed up on the clipboard!

We have two some additional vacancies available:

• PTC Vice President: Participate in PTC board meetings and support the events and fundraisers of the PTC.
• PACK store: Work with school admins to purchase and organize this positive behavior incentive program
• 8th Grade Send-Off Coordinator: Help organize the 8th grade send-off in June!
  
• Student Store: Manage the supplies at the student store & help train volunteers
