Christmas Concert
We are excited to announce the upcoming Christmas Concert featuring Grades 4-5, 6HH, 6AS and Ms. Legge's Junior Choir, which will take place on Thursday, December 14, 2023. We are looking forward to an incredible performance by our talented students, and we hope you can join us for this special event.
To accommodate families with younger children, we will have a matinee performance at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 14. Parents with younger children who wish to attend should plan to arrive early to secure seating.
The evening performance is for adults only, and doors will open at 6:00 p.m. with the concert starting at 6:30 p.m. We encourage all parents, guardians, and family members to attend and support our young performers. Tickets for the evening performance will be available for purchase at the door for $5.00. Tickets will also be on sale for a 50/50 draw.
Please note that the concert will take place in the school's gymnasium. We recommend arriving early to find a good seat and avoid any delays. We also ask that all attendees please be respectful of the performers and the other audience members by refraining from talking during the show and to remain seated until the end of the concert.
Thank you for your continued support of Sacred Heart Academy and our students. We look forward to seeing you at the Christmas Concert.

- Cat/dog treats
- cat/dog toys
- and blankets
Donations can be dropped at the main entrance of the school.
Thank you from the Grade 4 and 5 classes.
Lost & Found
When families are visiting the school please check the Lost & Found table located at the front entrance. Items not collected by December 20th will be donated to a local charity.
Santa's Closet
Sacred Heart Academy’s Peer Helpers are asking the students, staff and the larger community to help fill Santa’s Closet with new mitts, to help our friends at SHA stay warm this winter. Santa’s Closet will be accepting donations of new mitts at the school until December 20th. Warm a child's hands and warm your heart this holiday season!
FREE Online Tutoring for Grade 7 Students
The Centre for Distance Learning and Innovation (CDLI) offers a free online tutoring program to students in Grades 7-12. This online tutoring service is available to Grade 7 students in the areas of Mathematics and Science. Tutors will be available during various evenings each week and on weekends to assist students with academic difficulties. Students who have access to a computer and an internet connection will be able to receive online tutoring assistance from their homes or alternate venues. This online support is important as many students often encounter problems understanding key concepts during evening hours.
To avail of this tutoring service, students can go to www.cdli.ca/tutoring.
