Our PTO sponsored Jog-A-Thon was a huge success this week thanks to the support of our Governor Winslow School families and Mr. Jackson's unwavering commitment to our students. Children jogged on a picture-perfect day to raise money for our wonderful school community. Thanks to those who sponsored our runners, the funds raised will be used for field trips, playground equipment, classroom text sets, and digital learning resources. We are grateful to all who supported this very successful event!

• Thursday 10/26: Jog-A-Thon
• Friday 10/27: Jog-A-Thon (Rain Date)
• Tuesday 10/31: Grade 3 to Plimoth Patuxet
• Monday 11/6: Parent-Teacher conferences, 6-8PM
• Tuesday 11/7: No school for students, Professional Development Day for teachers
• Wednesday 11/8: Parent-Teacher conferences, 1:30-3:30PM
• Friday 11/10: No school, Veterans Day

Get your flu shot, it takes about 2 weeks for protection to develop after vaccination.

There are many flu viruses, and they are always changing. Each year a new flu vaccine is made to protect against the influenza viruses believed to be likely to cause disease in the upcoming flu season. Even when the vaccine doesn’t exactly match these viruses, it may still provide some protection. CDC.gov 2023

GWS will continue to use the PickUp Patrol (PUP) App to help us better manage our dismissal process. PUP allows parents to electronically make daily dismissal changes from a computer or smart phone. Families that have not already registered will receive an email with login information.

PLEASE LOGIN AND CONFIRM YOUR CHILD'S DEFAULT DISMISSAL PLANS.

Lunch will be served at all elementary schools this year free of charge.
