WOW!! Can you believe that there are less than 50 days of school remaining in the 22-23 School year? Time has surely flown by!

Being in school each and every day means that your student is ready to learn - Attendance is so important! With state testing upon us, we want students to have the best chance of success and learning each and every day. Our perfect attendance challenge is one way to acknowledge those students that are on time and present each and every day. At the end of April, we will draw the name of another student to win a special prize - Nintendo Switch, XBox, Drone, or a bike!

Don't forget to RSVP for our Spring into Science Family Night as SIC! (See Link Below) It has been a while since our families have been together - so join us for some science fun!

Keep in mind that we do have an Easter Break April 7-April 10 - enjoy your family festivities and Easter Egg Hunts!

Did you know that for more than 30 years, March has been designated as Music in Our Schools Month (MIOSM) and Youth Art Month! Thank you Ms. Cate, Mrs. Lorenzatti and all art/music educators that dedicate their time for teaching our students to appreciate the Arts. So many of the SIC teachers and staff started out as young students that appreciated and enjoyed the Arts.

The Fact Fluency Challenge continues through April!

All 3rd and 4th grade students will be taking the Illinois Assessment of Readiness Test - IAR. This test is given to all 3rd - 8th graders in the state of Illinois.

Attendance during this time is VERY important - students perform best when they are with their class at the time of testing. Please save any appointments for after school. Students with on time attendance each day of testing will receive Bonus Cardinal Cash!
