Message from the Principal

Hi WECHS family!

It's hard to believe we are nearing the completion of our first semester! Our scholars are working hard and making great progress. I am very proud of all of our scholars and how much they have improved from the very beginning of the year. They are becoming more responsible and learning how to hold themselves accountable for situations that are within their control. Kudos, scholars! Thank you, families, for your help in ensuring the success of our scholars and for your continued support of our school.

If you have not already signed up for Parent Portal, it is imperative that you do so. Access to PowerSchool will allow you to see your child's grades and provide you with a convenient way to communicate with your child's teachers. Please contact us for your access information.

We will be having individual scholar-parent/guardian meetings in January to discuss academic progression. You will receive a phone invitation if you are requested to come in for a meeting. We will try very hard to accommodate your work schedule and meeting preference.

WECHS celebrates our newest Phi Theta Kappa members!

Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society recognizes and encourages scholarship among two-year college students. The society provides opportunities for the development of leadership and service, an intellectual climate for the exchange of ideas and ideals, lively fellowship for scholars, and stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Membership is by invitation only. Students must currently be enrolled in a regionally accredited institution offering an associate degree program, have completed at least 12 hours of coursework leading to an associate degree, and have a grade point average of 3.5.
