Upcoming Schedule for the Holidays and Winter Break
Sunday December 22nd:
- 9:15 nursery care and Spirit Play for All Ages
- 11:00 nursery care and Solstice Chapel (preschool-8th grade)
- 12:30 High School Holiday Party
December 24th:
- 5:30 Family Christmas Eve Service (no nursery care)
Sunday December 29th:
- ONE SERVICE ONLY 10am, nursery care only
Sunday January 5th, all classes and youth programs resume on normal schedules
Please note the church office will be closed December 25-January 2nd, and the Director of Religious Education will not hold office hours December 23rd-January 3rd.
Christmas Eve Family Service, 5:30pm
Join us for carols, the Christmas story, and candle light on Christmas Eve, 5:30pm
This is an all ages service, no nursery care or kids classes. All welcome.
Spirit Play and Labyrinth Learning Volunteers Needed
We are looking for more volunteers in Religious Education classes! We need teachers for Spirit Play for Preschool-Kindergarten, and assistants for the Labyrinth Learning class for 1st-5th grade.
Volunteers must have been part of the OUUC community for a minimum of six months and be able to pass a background check.

4th-5th Grade Our Whole Lives
Our Whole Lives is a comprehensive, holistic, values-based sexuality education program offered at developmentally appropriate levels for various ages. Our 4th-5th Grade program begins January 26th and runs for 10 weeks, Sundays 12:45-2:45

Guest At Your Table
Support our partners around the world in creating stronger communities with more justice.
Pick up your Guest At Your Table box from the youth in the Commons, and bring back your donations for the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee by December 22nd
Donations Needed
The OUUC Teen Faith in Action Leadership Council will be collecting necessities for our local unhoused community. These items will then be used to create care packages which will be delivered this winter. Following is a list of suggested items we will be needing for this project. Look for the donation box in the RE entry way all of the month of December to drop off items.
Requested Donation Items:
- socks, hats, gloves, scarves
- handwarmers
- AA or AAA batteries
- granola bars or other individually packaged snacks
- wet wipes, tissues, napkins
- bandaids, foot care items
- chapstick
Youth Movie Outing
There is a movie coming out based on the excellent (and previous UU Common Read) book Just Mercy, and OUUC teens are invited to go see it! We'll buy a block of seats on Tuesday January 14th, 4pm show time, then get some food together afterward. RSVP now to get a ticket!
