Hello Parents/Guardians,

Carnegie Unit Form

Any student who is taking any of the following courses has received a Carnegie unit form, which needs to be signed by you and the student. This form indicates that you are aware that a Carnegie unit will be earned with the passing of the course, which will be on the student's high school transcript. Please return this form to school ASAP.

6th grade: Keyboarding

7th grade: Cybersociety

8th grade: Quest for Success, Band, Chorus, and/or Lache Pas

IAIP Form

Any student who still needs additional interventions due to having an IAIP plan will receive an IAIP form soon. I will make a callout to notify you when they have been sent out. You should receive the form in an envelope. Please sign and return.

If you have any questions about either form, please contact the counselor or principal.

Student arrival: students can arrive on campus at 7:00 am

Breakfast: 7:00 - 7:15

Homeroom: 7:18

Dismissal: 2:35 (1st bus load and parent pick up students)

2:38 (2nd bus load and walkers)

Please make sure students return the completed beginning-of-the-year paperwork to their teachers.

JHW will be sending home car raffle order forms this week. Please see the flyer for district incentives.

School incentives are as follows:

*for each ticket sold, students can wear free dress (within school guidelines) for a week

*top seller receives $50 cash

You can conveniently pay for IDs, PE uniforms, raffle tickets, and school spirit shirts through the new OSP (Online School Payment) method.

Simply scan the QR code, open the link, and complete the required information.

We are so excited to continue to offer this wonderful technological tool to all of our students. Students will be issued a daily use Chromebook to complete activities; however, Chromebooks will remain on campus unless a need arises for remote learning.

Students must be in their homeroom no later than 7:23 to receive their Chromebooks in homeroom. Any student arriving after this time will not be allowed to go to homeroom to pick up their Chromebook (so as to not disturb that class). We appreciate your efforts in having students arrive at school on time.

Parents,

Due to safety issues, the drop-off and pick-up area is in the back of the school by the stadium. Please do not drop off or pick up students in front of the school.
